Gods, that was the worst part about it. All those people praying to something that looked at them like funny bugs. I don't know what possesses people to worship things out to destroy them, I really don't, but I see it time and again.
I'd agree with you if I hadn't seen the fervor in some of their eyes. I've met cultists before, more times than I'd care to admit. A whole lot of them really buy in wholesale. They really do think it's only everyone else their terrible monster-god will devour.
