That's the desert, right? Lucifer made me lose my taste for the desert.

Parts of it are. There's a lot of it out that way. But the other parts of it aren't bad to look at.
But what do you mean he made you?

Oh. Just one of his tricks, I guess. Dropping you in the desert where no one will find you and leaving you to wander until you cooperate. He didn't ever use that on you?

Mine was more dropping me in a small, walled, and doorless area for a chat.
But there was air conditioning.
You've had something of the short end of things.

No. And of course he's immortal. You can't even hope he'll die of age. That's how it always goes, isn't it?

Rather constantly.
But he was wounded in all of it maybe he'll be distracted for awhile.
And there's always out of sight and out of mind.

It probably is better for you to keep clear. He told me he was coming for me.

Could be meant to scare you.

But you'd best travel while he's still wounded then. Only how will you have wards done on wherever you go? You would need them or he could find you.
Protection maybe? Pay a mercenary?

I guess. I'm going to try to find someone who can do wards. Someone I can hire.

Shame you can't just ward yourself.

Wards are sigils. They're embedded into a structure so that their magic binds with it. Hypothetically a person could possibly be the structure.
But like with a house it would have to be embedded
Someone would probably need to etch them into you. probably your bone.
It's the same principle as his marks, only the opposite effect.

No.
Possibly it wouldn't work at all. But it's a thought. You would have to raise the idea with someone who already knows how to weave a ward and I can't.
